  4. Version 4.7.1 Fixes:

  6.           Export -> Save Graphics under the File Menu now works
  7.           correctly from DOCMaker.  This command was causing a
  8.           crash in v4.7 DOCMaker.

  10.           A memory leak associated with swapping in and out of
  11.           DOCMaker has been fixed.

  16.           Memory management more robust.

  18.           Documents created with version 4.7 will NOT open
  19.           correctly into earlier versions of the main DOCMaker

  22.           This is due to the large number of individual pictures
  23.           that can be put into a document now that 100 chapters
  24.           are supported.  The manner in which pictures are
  25.           cataloged has changed.  DOCMaker v4.7 will open ANY
  26.           previously saved DOCMaker document.

  28.           More secure saving routines preserve your original
  29.           document until the save process is completed.
  30.           Fixes file corruption during save.

  32.           You need at least twice the disk space available to
  33.           resave an existing Stand-Alone Document.
  34.           
  35.           If you open an existing stand-alone document into
  36.           DOCMaker, make changes, and choose Save from the File
  37.           Menu, your original document is left untouched until
  38.           the save process has successfully completed.  Then your
  39.           original document is removed - this is a very secure
  40.           way to save a file, but requires that you have enough
  41.           disk space available for two copies of your document
  42.           during a Save process.

  46.           DOCMaker allows you to create 100 chapters
  47.           in a single stand-alone document.

  61. Version 4.6.1 Fixes:

  63.           Fixed problems that disabled sending AppleEvents
  64.           from picture actions.  Now Send AppleEvent
  65.           picture actions works correctly.  This problem
  66.           was introduced in version 4.6.

  68.           DOCMaker now correctly imports RTF text files - this
  69.           has not worked correctly in previous versions.

  71. Version 4.6.1 Changes and Features Added:

  73.           DOCMaker documents now have a right-handed chapter
  74.           navigation scrollbar.  This may be changed to
  75.           a left handed scrollbar if the user desires.

  77.           DOCMaker documents may now be opened into DOCMaker
  78.           by dragging their icons to the DOCMaker icon. This
  79.           requires System 7.  If this does not work on your
  80.           Mac after installing DOCMaker, you will need to
  81.           copy DOCMaker v4.6.1 to your main hard disk (the
  82.           one with your System Folder) and then rebuild your
  83.           desktop.  To rebuild the desktop, you need to restart
  84.           your Macintosh while holding down the command and 
  85.           option keys.  Hold these keys down UNTIL you get
  86.           the rebuild desktop dialog.

  88.           Removed the Transfer menu item from the DOCMaker
  89.           application.  This is no longer needed.

  94.           Fixed problems caused by running out of memory
  95.           and saving.  In earlier versions, if you received the
  96.           out-of-memory error while editing a document in
  97.           DOCMaker and then saved, sometime the saved
  98.           document could become corrupted.

  102.           DOCMaker documents now may have a startup
  103.           splash dialog and sound!

  109.           action may not print regardless of the setting

  116.           When the stand-alone document was saved with the
  117.           "Output Text" feature, the document may quit with
  118.           System Error ID 15.  This has been fixed in v4.5.1.

  120.           If a plain text file was opened into DOCMaker and then
  121.           immediately saved as a stand-alone document.  The stand-
  122.           alone document would sometimes issue a low-memory alert.
  123.           This has been fixed in v4.5.1.
